Discussing the new law "about the regulateing [sic] of money"; noting the penalties for not following the new law; underscoring the need to eliminate the use of "clipt money"; telling Lyde that he may allow tenants to pay late if they are "honest and responsible men and doe [sic] not delay paying upon pretences only to delay"; saying that he does not understand what his cousin Mary Dolman expects him to do for her son; offering to help Lyde's son in Holland.
